COMMENTS

Just bought our first boat in mid August '04. We have re-named it "The Old Boy" after my Father in Law, who died last year, and ultimately allowed us to be able to afford to own a boat. The boat came with a Yamaha 8 hp 2-stroke, but after a few problems we have just splashed out on a brand new Mariner 5 hp 4-stroke, hoping it gives us the peace of mind cruising that we are after.
We are based on the river Tees, a much maligned part of the country, yet incredibly peaceful, and beautiful. Still learning the ropes, so to speak.
